Creative Lighting Packages
Future Group is an independent lighting design and lighting engineering
consultancy specialising in architectural, marine, exhibition and
live event lighting. We work collaboratively with architects, interior
designers, artists, developers and manufacturers , providing consultancy
to other lighting design practices on specialist projects and offer
independent advice to the lighting manufacturing industry.
For architectural projects we organise and produce fully integrated
structured lighting design packages. We liaise with the associated
project teams for the design, construction and handover of the interior
and exterior lighting of buildings.
We help to develop a lighting brief, the lighting concepts, and
the detailed aesthetic and lighting engineering components. This
involves the production of CAD drawings, loading, dimming, luminaire
and lamp schedules, product specification and estimation of lead
times. We liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure smooth
procurement to meet contract dates. Our particular strengths include
the design of custom luminaires and optics, and we fully commission
each project, issuing a separate handover document to enable clients
to fully utilise and maintain the lighting systems installed.
For the lighting industry, we utilise our experience of designing
custom luminaires for projects and apply this to the design and
development of new lights and component parts for the industry.
In conjunction with this we also carry out technical, design and
market research.
We each offer complementary skills and bring many years of experience
from within the industry to each project. Our work on high profile
architecture has enabled us to develop innovative solutions and
has meant our design abilities are well sought after.
