Lighting Glass
Future Group Lighting Design are specialists at lighting glass,
above are four Danny Lane pieces:- "Presence of Seven in the
Lighting of Movement" click heading for a case study and more
views. A further work, in Canary Wharf, is also being commissioned
currently. The "Sword of Damocles" is an internally lit
7.5m chandelier made from stacked 6mm float glass. "The Empress"
was lit this year (London)
The sculpture at Canterbury Cathedral was lit using a specially
constructed luminaire suspended on cables, it was designed not to
interfere with the fabric of the building and to make the etched
glass really stand out.
