Future Group Lighting Design
Peter Phillipson B Sc (Hons)
Peter has a background in theatre film and architectural lighting
with previous experience from the BBC, Thorn Lighting and DHA.
His artistic interests stem from his days in film effects, theatre
and photography whilst he can design reflector systems and perform
lighting calculations when necessary. He has designed and managed
many projects in the UK and abroad.
Tim Warner B A(Hons) M Des RCA
Tim is an innovative lighting designer. He was was one of the first
in the UK to make Architectural Lighting an art in itself. He has
created a style that became the industry standard for modern minimalist
architecture. Not content to sit on his laurels, Tim is always pushing
new ideas forward. He designs special luminaires when required,
to meet challenging lighting demands.
Nick Warner B A (Hons) M Des RCA
With a background in Industrial and Yacht Design with previous experience
from Evan Marshall and Donald Starkey Designs, Nick brings a strong
experience from the Marine World to the lighting aesthetic. Trained
at the Royal College of Art his ability to integrate lighting into
the overall design of a space rather than treat lighting as a separate
activity, is second to none.
Nick is also Tim’s brother and this adds to the closeness
of the group.
Alison Proctor B A (Hons)
Until 1987 Alison was a Dancer. Since then she has been involved
in theatre based lighting design. She received an Arts Council Bursary
to light dance. In recent years, she has also taught Lighting Design
and Stage Electrics Courses at RADA. Her theatrical flair is ideal
for exhibition work. She is also a renown potter and recent examples
of her work have won her much acclaim.
